Partition Ten

The object of the game is for players to show with their hands two numbers that add to ten. This is a game for two players.

Materials

• None required.

Directions

1. Partners face each other and put their arms straight up in the air.
2. Player 1 uses his or her fingers to show a number between 0 and 10.
3. Player 2 displays the number needed to make 10. For example, Player 1 shows
   4 fingers and Player 2 shows 6 fingers because 4 + 6 = 10.
4. On the next turn, Player 2 leads.
5. Players continue to take turns until time runs out.
