Digits Game

The object of the game is to get the largest or smallest correct answer to a problem. This game can be played by one or two players.

Directions

Choose your game options.

  1. Number of players: 1 or 2
  2. Select the number of rounds you wish to play.
  3. Click the game boards you would like to use in your rounds. You can choose to use up to four different boards.
  4. Select the option to find either the largest correct answer or smallest correct answer.
  5. Click the Start Game button to begin your game.

Single-Player Mode

  1. Player A will receive a number card.
  2. Player A must choose an open spot on the board on which to place the card.
  3. To place the card on the board, click a blank card spot outlined with dashes.
  4. Once a card is placed, it cannot be moved.
  5. Once Player A places a card, Player B (the computer) automatically places a card on the Player B board.
  6. When there are no more empty card spots left, it is time to solve the problem.
  7. Click the black box that reads, “Enter your answer.”
  8. Click the number keys of the key pad that appears on your screen to type in the correct answer to the problem.
  9. Once you have finished selecting the digits for the answer, click the Enter button.
  10. The computer will check the answers.
  11. The player with the correct answer that met the largest or smallest game option is the winner!
    • Each correct round earns 10 points.
    • Tie rounds earn 5 points for each player.
    • The winner is the player with the most points at the end of all rounds.

Two-Player Mode

  1. Player A will receive a number card.
  2. Player A must choose an open spot on the board on which to place the card.
  3. To place the card on the board, click a blank card spot outlined with dashes.
  4. Once a card is placed, it cannot be moved.
  5. Once Player A places a card, Player B will receive a number card.
  6. Player B must choose an open spot on which to place the card by clicking a blank card spot.
  7. Player B will start the next turn. Play will continue alternating which player goes first: A, B, B, A, A, B, B, A, and so on.
  8. When there are no more empty card spots left, it is time to solve the problem.
  9. Players will take turns entering their answers.
  10. Each player will click the black box that reads “Enter your answer.”
  11. Players will click the number keys of the key pad that appears on the screen to type in the correct answers to the problems.
  12. Once the players have finished selecting the digits for the answers, the players will click the Enter button.
  13. The computer will check the answers.
  14. The player with the correct answer that met the largest or smallest game option is the winner!
    • Each correct round earns 10 points.
    • Tie rounds earn 5 points for each player.
    • The winner is the player with the most points at the end of all rounds.
