1. Find all the rectangles you can make with 18 tiles. Follow the directions from Questions 1 and 2 using 18 tiles.
  2. Your teacher will assign your group some of the numbers from 1 to 25.
    • For each number, arrange that many tiles into rectangles in as many ways as you can.
    • Then draw the rectangles on Square-Inch Grid Paper and cut them out. Write number sentences on each rectangle to match.
  3. Put your rectangles on a class chart.
  4. Use the class chart of rectangles to make a table, like the one at the right, of the multiplication sentences for each of the numbers 1–25. Use the Rectangles page in the Student Activity Book.
