LESSON 8 Class Party

Suppose there are 25 students in your class and you have $10 to spend for a class party. Use the prices in the table to plan a party.

Make a list of the items you would like to buy. Show or tell how you spent the money.

Use as much of the $10 as you can, but do not spend more than $10. Be sure your party plan works for a class of 25.

Discuss the following questions with your classmates.

1. What do you need to think about before you start working?
2. How will you decide what to buy?
3. What tools will you need?
4. What will you need to include in your written explanation?
