Drawing Angles
Frank enjoys the geometry of measuring angles. He wants to draw some angles, too. He decided to draw an acute angle measuring 50°.
He started by drawing a straight line with his ruler. He marked the vertex of the angle by making a dot at the left end of the line. He named the vertex C. He named a point D on the line to make ray 
.
He placed the protractor on the vertex and the angle side on the 0° mark.
Starting at 0°, Frank read the numbers on the protractor until he reached 50°.
He drew a dot at the 50° mark.
