Other numbers can be written using exponents.

When we write 23, the 2 is the base and 3 is the power or exponent.

    1. Name the base and the exponent in 52.
    2. Name the base and the power in 34.
  1. Find n.
    1. 43 = n
    2. 25 = n
    3. 61 = n
  2. Write the following using exponents. Then find the value of n.
  3. Example:
    5 5 5 5 = n
    54 = 625
    1. 4 4 4 = n
    2. 2 2 2 2 2 2 = n
