Analyze Bat Data

Professor Eagle, Sarah, and Bobby continued to collect data on the bats by helping Joan repeat the capture three more times. Each night, they captured about 100 bats and counted the number of tagged bats in each sample.

They recorded their data in a data table like this:

“What would happen to the number of tagged bats if we changed the size of our sample?” asked Bobby, after looking at the data.

“Don't you think the number of tagged bats in each sample would get bigger or smaller depending on the size of the sample?” asked Sarah.

“I wish we could find out for sure,” Bobby said.
