Zoo Sticker Arrays

• Assign the Collection of Stickers Homework Master to give students additional practice with arrays and multistep problems after Part 2.
• Assign DPP items K–N. In item K, students solve two-digit subtraction problems using drawings of base-ten pieces. In DPP item N, students continue the ongoing project, Hundreds of Coins, from Unit 1 Lesson 1.
• Assign Home Practice Part 4. Students practice using mental math and using ten strategies when solving multidigit subtraction problems.

Math Facts. In DPP items L–M, students practice the subtraction facts related to the addition facts in Group D. Item L provides practice in the context of word problems. In item M, students practice thinking addition as a strategy for solving subtraction problems.
