Homework and Practice

  • Assign the Homework section in the Student Guide to provide practice composing and decomposing numbers into groups of thousands, hundreds, tens, and ones with base-ten shorthand.
  • Assign any uncompleted questions on the Large Orders pages in the Student Activity Book.
  • Assign DPP items G and H. Task H provides practice partitioning the number 53 using base-ten pieces.

Math Facts. DPP Bit G provides practice with the subtraction facts in Group 6.
