Students may find it interesting to conduct the second part of this activity with another class at a different grade level. Have them predict whether the most and least common groups will change for the different grade level. Make a new bar graph in a different color so students can compare the two sets of data. Ask students if they can think of reasons why the data may be different for the other class.
