- Assign the Group and Count Buttons Homework Masters in the Teacher Guide to give students additional practice representing a collection.
- Assign DPP items E–H. In Item E, students practice skip counting by 5s and 10s. Item G is an Add 7 rule machine. Item H is a subtraction word problem.
- Assign Home Practice Part 3, which provides practice with trading pennies for nickels and dimes.
Math Facts. DPP item F provides practice with addition by asking students to write a story about an addition fact.
