- Assign the Using Addition Strategies Homework page in the Student Activity Book. Students will need the Number Lines 0–30 page, also in the Student Activity Book.
- Assign DPP items A–D. DPP Task B asks students to solve a problem involving coins. Bit C develops number sense through skip counting on the calculator.
Math Facts. DPP Bit A uses math facts to develop mental math skills adding tens. Task D asks students to explain how to correct a math facts problem.
