- Assign the Fact Families Homework page in the Student Activity Book to help students connect the subtraction facts with the related addition facts.
- Students take home the flash cards for Group 1 and Group 2 to practice.
- Assign DPP items AA–BB. Task BB reviews multiplication problems that can be solved with repeated addition. This review can prepare students for the activities in Unit 3.
Math Facts. DPP Bit AA uses fact families to practice determining an unknown number in an addition or subtraction number sentence relating three whole numbers in Groups 1 and 2.
