Materials Preparation

Prepare Graduated Cylinders. Fill two graduated cylinders with different amounts of water. The third cylinder should remain empty so it can be used to demonstrate correct filling procedure.

Prepare Containers of Water. Student pairs will need access to about 75 cc of water. Gather and fill an appropriate pitcher for each student pair or place a larger container at each table with a small cup for each student pair.
