Students may write the digits on slips of paper and use them to fill in the magic square. One solution:


Ask students to compare this magic square to those on the Magic Squares pages in the Student Guide. How are they alike? How are they different?

Complete the magic square using the digits 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, and 6. One 5 is placed for you. Each row, column, and diagonal must have a sum of 15.
