Number Line Target

Place the Number Line Target Game in a center for students to play using one of the following game board variations:

• Create a game board without twos and threes. After playing, ask students to name a few sums that cannot be made with these numbers missing.
• Create a game board with only even numbers and ask students to describe the patterns they notice in the sums.
• Create a game board with only odd numbers and ask students to describe the patterns they notice in the sums.
