Solving Repeated Addition and Subtraction Problems

• Assign the Babs the Basset Hound Homework Masters to provide more practice solving repeated addition and repeated subtraction problems.
• Assign DPP items S–V. In Item T, students develop strategies for solving subtraction problems. Item V provides word problems students can solve with repeated addition.

Math Facts. DPP item S practices the addition facts in Group C as students use one fact to solve related facts. Item U provides problems that practice using math fact strategies to add for the facts in Group C.
