Cubes

• Assign the Find the Twins Homework Master to give students practice analyzing the shapes represented in pictures of cubes. Review the meaning of same shape as defined in this lesson.
• Assign DPP items A–B. DPP item B provides addition practice in the context of mass.
• Assign Home Practice Parts 1–2. Part 2 provides practice with solving multidigit subtraction problems.

Math Facts. DPP item A provides practice with the subtraction facts related to the addition facts in Group B. In Home Practice Part 1, students practice the addition facts and the related subtraction facts in Group B by sorting flash cards.
