Adding Multidigit Numbers

• Assign the One Way or Another Homework Masters to provide practice using a variety of strategies to solve multidigit addition word problems.
• Assign DPP items I–L. DPP item J provides practice comparing three-digit numbers. In item L, students practice partitioning three-digit numbers. In DPP item K, student continue the ongoing project, Hundred of Coins, from Unit 1 Lesson 1.
• Assign Home Practice Parts 3–4. In Part 3, students practice finding area using square centimeters. In Part 4, students review division with remainders.

Math Facts. DPP item I provides practice with subtraction facts and place value concepts for facts in Group F.
