T-Shirt Factory Problems

• Assign the Family T-Shirts Homework page in the Student Activity Book. Students use strategies learned in class to find out how many letters they will need to make T-shirts for their family. They will then find the total cost for the letters.
• Assign DPP items A–B.

Math Facts. DPP Bit A provides practice with skip counting by tens in a problem-solving context. Task B develops the making-tens strategy for subtraction facts.
