Homework and Practice

  • Assign the Homework section in the Student Guide. Students write and solve their own multiplication and division problems.
  • Assign DPP items Q and R.

Math Facts. DPP Bit Q is a problem involving money. Challenge R reviews writing multiplication sentences. Both practice multiplication facts for the 5s.

Student-created problems and solutions can be shared and displayed on a bulletin board. Fold a sheet of paper in half. Students write their problem on the front of the front cover and their solution strategy on the inside.
