Multiplication Stories

If you have access to computers equipped with a drawing program, students can use them to illustrate their multiplication stories. Most examples in the Student Guide were drawn by students using Kid Pix. In the first example, two boys drew a cloud with five bolts of lightning and copied their first cloud seven times. Using the copy and paste functions in this way reinforces the operation of multiplying seven times five.
