Lesson 2

In Twos, Threes, and More

Est. Class Sessions: 3

Summarizing the Lesson

Ask groups to share their problems by swapping problems with another group. Student groups should write a solution to the problem they have been given to solve. Solutions can then be compared. Student groups can also use the Math Practices page to review the solution given with the problem. These types of reviews help improve students' problem-solving and communication skills.

Collect problems from student groups to use in classroom centers to help improve students' problem-solving and communication skills. Include directions encouraging students to compare their solutions with the ones given for each problem.
