  7. 8 + 1 =  9
  8. 8 −  5 = 3
  9. Explanations will vary. Question D is in the same fact family as Question B except it's in multiples of 10.

Use DPP item I to assess students' fluency with the subtraction facts related to the addition facts in Group B [E10] and their abilities to determine the unknown number in an addition or subtraction sentence for the facts in Group B [E11].
