Workshop: Area and Perimeter

Select several problems to discuss with the whole class. These may be problems that were especially challenging to students, or that generated worthwhile discussions in the small groups. Ask groups to share their solutions and explain their reasoning. Then, allow the whole class to ask questions, challenge solutions, and suggest alternative strategies.
