- Assign the Paper-and-Pencil Addition Homework Masters. Students practice both the expanded form and the all-partials methods for addition.
- Assign DPP items O–R. In item O, students practice finding the value of a set of coins using the Coin Jars from Unit 1 Lesson 1. In item P, students represent the value of a set of coins with base-ten pieces. In item Q, students practice estimating sums.
Math Facts. In item R, students practice the addition facts in Group E.
