There is a DPP item, Multiples on the Calendar, included in each unit since Unit 5 that provides experiences related to this activity. If Multiples on the Calendar has been part of your daily routine, students have had practice partitioning numbers into equal groups. This practice prepares them for solving problems with division and writing number sentences.
