- Assign Home Practice Parts 1 and 2. Part 1 provides practice with the making ten strategy for solving addition. Part 2 provides addition and subtraction practice.
- Assign DPP items G–J. In Task H, students use strategies to solve word problems involving the number 908. In Bit J, students solve multidigit addition problems.
Math Facts. Home Practice Parts 1 and 2 provide practice with the subtraction facts. In Bit G, students quiz each other on the subtraction facts for Groups 3 and 4. Bit I can be used to practice the subtraction facts in Group 3.
Students take home Subtraction Flash Cards: Groups 3 and 4 to practice with a family member.
