Paper-and-Pencil Subtraction

• Assign the Recording Your Subtraction Homework pages in the Student Activity Book.
• Assign the Johnny's Paper-and-Pencil Subtraction Homework pages in the Student Activity Book.
• Assign DPP items K–N. In Bit M, students solve problems involving elapsed time. Challenge N involves finding missing digits in multidigit addition and subtraction problems and can be used as a Problem of the Week.

Math Facts. Use Bit K to practice the subtraction facts for Group 4. Task L provides practice with two of the Last Six Facts. Students take home Subtraction Flash Cards: Groups 3 and 4 to practice with a family member.
