Paper-and-Pencil Division

• The problems in the Homework section on the Paper-and-Pencil Division pages in the Student Guide should be assigned over several nights.
• Students can play the Division Digits Game at home with a family member.
• Assign DPP items M–P. Items M, N, and P provide practice with the strategies for solving multidigit division problems.
• Assign Home Practice Parts 5 and 6. Students use division strategies to solve word problems in Part 5. In Part 6, students use multiplication and division strategies to solve problems.
