Multiplication Strategies
Est. Class Sessions: 2–3Homework and Practice
- Assign the Homework section in the Student Guide.
- Assign DPP items E–H. In Bit E, students review strategies for solving multiplication, addition, and subtraction. In Task F, students represent fractions, and in Task H students solve problems involving elapsed time.
- Assign Home Practice Parts 3–4. In Part 3, students practice finding the median and graphing data. In Part 4, students practice strategies for solving multidigit addition and subtraction.
Math Facts. In DPP Bit G students practice multiplying with multiples of ten involving the multiplication facts for the 9s.
