TIMS Bit

Use this DPP to practice the Fact Families for multiplication and division using numbers that are multiples of 10 and 100.

  1. 1500; 1500 ÷ 3 = 500;
    1500 ÷ 500 = 3
  2. 240; 240 ÷ 60 = 4;
    240 ÷ 4 = 60
  3. 4500; 4500 ÷ 50 = 90;
    4500 ÷ 90 = 50
  4. 3000; 3000 ÷ 10 = 300;
    3000 ÷ 300 = 10
  5. 2400; 2400 ÷ 8 = 300;
    2400 ÷ 300 = 8
  6. 8100; 8100 ÷ 9 = 900;
    8100 ÷ 900 = 9
  7. 400; 400 ÷ 10 = 40;
    400 ÷ 40 = 10
  8. 600; 600 ÷ 200 =3;
    600 ÷ 3 = 200
  9. 210; 210 ÷ 70 = 3;
    210 ÷ 3 = 70
  10. 1200; 1200 ÷ 4 = 300;
    1200 ÷ 300 = 4
  11. 4200; 4200 ÷ 6 = 700;
    4200 ÷ 700 = 6
  12. 360; 360 ÷ 40 = 9;
    360 ÷ 9 = 40

G. Multiplying and Dividing by Multiples of 10

Complete the number sentence in each problem. Then write two division sentences in the same fact family. Follow the example.

Example:
4 × 500 = 2000
2000 ÷ 4 = 500
2000 ÷ 500 = 4
  1. 500 × 3 =
  2. 60 × 4 =
  3. 50 × 90 =
  4. 10 × 300 =
  5. 300 × 8 =
  6. 900 × 9 =
  7. 40 × 10 =
  8. 3 × 200 =
  9. 70 × 3 =
  10. 300 × 4 =
  11. 6 × 700 =
  12. 40 × 9 =
