Estimated Class Sessions: 3–4Homework and Practice
- Assign Home Practice Parts 3–4 after Part 1 or Part 2 of the lesson.
- Assign the Reading a Colors Graph Homework Master after Part 3 of the lesson.
- Assign DPP items O–T. In items O, Q, and R students practice making fair shares. In item P, students solve and tell addition stories. In item S, students identify even and odd numbers.
Math Facts. In item T, students solve addition word problems that involve two and three parts. Home Practice Parts 3–4 provide practice with solving addition problems and addition problems with missing numbers using ten frames and number lines.
