Using Coordinate Maps

• Assign the Jessie’s Desk Homework Masters to provide practice with finding distance and location on a coordinate graph.
• Assign DPP items O–P.
• Assign Home Practice Parts 3–4. Part 3 provides practice with finding area using square centimeters and Part 4 provides practice with concepts involving telling time.

Math Facts. In DPP item O, students practice math facts in the context of measuring and comparing lengths of lines using the inch as the unit of measure. DPP item P is the Addition and Subtraction Math Facts Inventory for the facts in Groups A–F.
