TIMS Bit

Students were introduced tomultiples on the calendar in Unit 3, Lesson 5. Answers will vary depending on the factor for the month and the specific date of the DPP. The answers provided are based on using 4 as the factor. The date of November 15 is used to answer the questions.

  1. 4
  2. No. When you skip count by 4 you do not land on 15.
  3. 4 × 3 + 3 = 15
  4. Yes; When you skip count by 4 you land on 16.
  5. We have already circled 4, 8, and 12. I predict we will circle 16, 20, 24, and 28.
  6. There are three dates not circled between the circled dates. Every 4th day is circled.

All of the days we circled are even numbers. They are all multiples of 2.
