- Assign the Fourths Homework pages in the Student Activity Book after Part 2 of the lesson.
- Assign the Fraction Chart Homework page in the Student Activity Book after Part 3 of the lesson.
- Assign DPP items C–H. In Task F students review strategies for solving multidigit addition and subtraction. In Bit G students describe characteristics of a group of students using fractions.
- DPP item D can be used as a Problem of the Week. This Task challenges students to find different combinations of coins.
Math Facts. DPP Bit C provides practice with the multiplication facts for the 2s. Bit E provides practice with the fact families for the 2s and 3s. In Task H students explore different strategies for solving the multiplication facts for the 3s.
