TIMS Challenge

  1. The cotton cost $2 × 10 = $20.
He spent $20 on wool as well, so the wool must have cost $10 per yard.
  2. The 15 classes will receive 12 × 15, or 180, packages. This leaves 120 packages to be shared among the ten other classes. Each class will receive 120 ÷ 10 = 12 packages.
