• Assign the Maria and José's Graph Homework Master after Part 3 of the lesson.
• Assign DPP items S–X. In Items S and W, students find and compare the area of shapes.
• Assign Home Practice Part 5.

Math Facts. In Home Practice Part 5, students practice composing 10 and 9 and look for patterns in the sums. DPP items T and V provide practice and an assessment of the addition facts in Group C with sums to ten. Item U provides practice with the related subtraction facts in Group C. Item X provides practice and an assessment of the fact families for the addition facts in Group C.
