Use DPP item F to review the combinations of ten. Students may use addition or subtraction. For example: 7 + 4 − 1 = 10. Have connecting cubes readily available.

F. Make Ten

Use the digits on the cards to write number sentences with sums of ten. Write as many as you can. The numbers can be used more than once. You can use more than two numbers in a number sentence.
