- Assign the More Snack Shop Carryouts Homework Masters to give students more practice adding and subtracting priced items. Students will need to refer to the Shooting Star Snack Shop Children’s Menu in the Student Activity Book to complete this assignment.
- Assign DPP items EE–FF. In item FF, students practice solving word problems involving multidigit addition and subtraction.
- Assign Home Practice Part 6. Students solve multidigit addition problems using mental math and paper-and-pencil strategies.
Math Facts. DPP item EE provides practice with a math fact in Group A in the context of a word problem.
