Multiplication Models and Strategies

• Assign the Homework section in the Student Guide. Provide copies of the Half-Centimeter Grid Paper Master for students who need the support of the grid to make their sketches.
• Assign unfinished problems from Solving Problems Mara's Way in the Student Activity Book as homework.
• Assign DPP items G–J. Task H provides practice with estimating sums. Bit I provides practice with multidigit addition and in Task J students solve a volume problem.

Math Facts. Bit G provides practice with the last six multiplication facts. Remind students to take home their Triangle Flash Cards to prepare for the assessments on the last six multiplication facts in Bit S and Bit AA.
