Measuring Volume of Containers

• Assign the Homework section on the Converting Standard Volume Units pages in the Student Activity Book.
• Assign the Homework section of the Measuring Volume of Containers pages in the Student Guide.
• Assign DPP items U–X. In Bit U, students practice adding and subtracting money. Task V provides practice with multistep problems.

Math Facts. In Bit W, students revisit the daily calendar routine to look for patterns in factors and multiples. In Task X, students practice the break-part products method to solve problems involving the last six multiplication facts.

Remind students to use their Triangle Flash Cards to review all their multiplication facts. These facts and their related fact families will be assessed in DPP items AA and EE.
