Earning Money

• Assign DPP items O–R. In Bit O, students review strategies for multidigit addition and subtraction. Bit Q provides practice with finding the median of a set of data. Task R provides practice with multidigit multiplication strategies.
• Assign Home Practice Parts 4–5. In Part 5, students solve addition problems involving money.

Math Facts. In Task P, students examine skip-counting strategies for solving the multiplication facts for the last six facts.

Home Practice Part 4 provides practice with some of the multiplication facts.

Remind students to use their Triangle Flash Cards to review all their multiplication facts. These facts and their related fact families will be assessed in DPP items S, AA, and EE.
