- Assign DPP items W–Z. In items W–X, students measure and estimate the length of objects in inches. In item Y, students measure the length of a sheet of paper with different units of measure (e.g., inches, links, pennies).
- Assign Home Practice Part 6 to provide practice with skip counting by 5s and 10s and counting on to find the value of a set of coins.
Math Facts. In item Z, students write stories for addition number sentences.
