- Assign the Measuring at Home Homework Master after Part 2 of the lesson.
- Assign the Stepping Out with My Family Homework Master after Part 3.
- Assign DPP items O–T.
- In item O, students practice grouping and sharing 20 objects. In item S, students practice skip counting by twos to count feet.
- Assign Home Practice Part 5 to provide practice with skip counting by 5s and 10s and counting on to find the value of a set of coins.
Math Facts. In item P, students solve and represent addition problems. In items Q–R, students solve and represent comparative and part-whole addition word problems involving length. Use item T to practice and assess the addition facts in Group C.
