Answers may vary. One possible solution: Fill the 2-quart container three times. Each time, empty it into the 5-quart container without overflowing. There will be one quart left in the 2-quart container. Another way: Fill the 5-quart container and empty out 2 quarts. Then empty out 2 quarts more. One quart is left.
