Global Travel is offering round-trip tickets to Faraway Island for $452.99 each. Which travel agency offers the best deal for Brett and Reggie? Why?
  2. Joanne is going to Faraway Island by herself for seven days. She has $2000 to spend. If she buys one airline ticket from Global Travel, about how much money can she spend each day? Show or tell how you decided.
  3. As Brett and Reggie board the plane to return home, the temperature on Faraway Island is 90°F. Brett must return to Minneapolis where it is −10°F. Reggie must return to Milwaukee where it is −7°F.
    1. Which is colder, Minneapolis or Milwaukee? How much colder?
    2. What is the difference in temperature between Minneapolis and Faraway Island?
