M. How Many Dimes

Use a number line or 100 Chart.

Julie arranged some dimes into two piles. Then she wrote the following number sentence:
20 cents + 30 cents = 50 cents.

  1. How many dimes are in each of Julie's piles?

  2. How many dimes does she have in all?

  3. How much are the dimes worth altogether?
