- Ask students to play Take Your Places Please at home with an adult. They will need their set of digit cards from the Student Activity Book. You may need to provide additional copies of The Take Your Places Please Recording Sheet Master.
- Assign Home Practice Parts 5–6. In Part 5, students use their number sense to find numbers in relation to another number. Part 6 provides practice with showing number with base-ten pieces and with a base-ten hopper.
- Assign DPP items U–X. In item W, students analyze different ways to show 218 and in item X, students practice solving word problems involving money.
Math Facts. DPP items U and V provide practice and an opportunity to assess students' fluency with addition facts in Group C and the related subtraction facts in Groups C and D. Home Practice Part 5 provides practice with the addition facts and related subtraction facts in Groups C and D.
