Comparing and Ordering

• The Compare Numbers at Home Homework Masters ask students to compare numbers and write number sentences using < and > symbols.
• Assign DPP items O–R. In item P, students discuss patterns found in the coin jars they started in Unit 1 Lesson 1. In item R, students solve addition word problems that involve money.

Math Facts. Students practice the doubling strategy and the make ten strategy to solve their addition facts in items O and Q.

Remind students to take home the Triangle Flash Cards to practice the addition facts in Groups C and D.
